The Correct Inbound/Outbound Attributes form enables you to correct inbound and outbound attributes, such as the inbound visit ID, inbound carrier name, outbound visit ID, or outbound carrier name for the extracted chargeable unit event(s).

You can use the Correct Inbound/Outbound Attributes form to correct the inbound and outbound carrier attributes of one or multiple extracted unit events.

N4 updates the I/B Carrier ATA for all billable events with the I/B Carrier ATA of the associated Unit Facility Visit (UFV) except if the location of the unit is Truck.

For the I/B Carrier LineID and the O/B Carrier LineID lookup fields on this form, N4 filters the values based on the I/B Location Type and O/B Location Type fields, respectively. N4 uses the following logic to filter the values for the I/B Carrier LineID and the O/B Carrier LineID lookup fields:

If the location type is not specified, N4 displays all the organizations except Shippers assuming that the Shippers cannot be line operators.

To update the inbound and outbound attributes of one record:

  1. In the list view, select the record for which you want to update the inbound and outbound attributes.

  1. Select the Actions Correct Inbound/Outbound Attributes option.

The Correct Inbound/Outbound Attributes form displays the existing information for the record.

  1. Update the inbound and outbound attributes for the selected record.

  2. Click Save.

To update the inbound and outbound attributes of multiple records:

  1. In the list view, select the records for which you want to update the inbound and outbound attributes.

  1. Select the Actions Correct Inbound/Outbound Attributes option.

N4 displays the fields in the Correct Inbound/Outbound Attributes form as view-only with a check box to the left of each field label.

  1. Select the check box to the left of the field label of the field that you want to edit.

The field becomes editable.

Do not select the check box for a field that you do not want to update for all the selected records. If you select a check box and do not enter a value, the field is set to null for all the selected records.

  1. Select or enter a value in the field.

The updated values apply to all the selected records.

  1. Repeat steps 3 and 4 to update other fields for the selected records.

  2. Click Save.
